About the Mennonite Historical Society of Iowa

The Mission of the Mennonite Historical Society of Iowa is:

  • To tell and interpret the story of Iowa Mennonites and Amish,
  • To collect and preserve relevant artifacts and historical records, and
  • To provide genealogical resources.

The Mennonite Historical Society of Iowa operates the Iowa Mennonite Museum and Archives on the grounds of the Kalona Historical Village.
